Add version to file?

Hello,

When (in Windows) I right-click a file name and click ‘properties’ I get to see a few tabs.

One of the tabs I see is ‘Details’. Is it possible (from within LibreOffice) to add a ‘Version’ parameter to this tab so I can give a spreadsheet a version number?

Do you mean this option?

No, that’s not what I mean. If you watch the file properties by right-clicking a file, you see for example the parameter ‘Title’. I was wondering if I could add my own tag ‘Version’ so the version will be visible on that tab as well.

Oh, this… No, unfortunately you can see in property window only predefined fields (Title, Subject, Keywords and Comments). Maybe number of revision can help you?

How or where do I set a “number of revision”?

It’s automatically increased by each save. But it can be reseting to 1 (Reset properties button)… unfortunately…

Ah, that’s not what I meant :frowning: I would simply like to add a tag that contains the version number, so if I make an adjustment to the spreadsheet I can increase it. Well, don’t think it’s possible then :frowning:
