Have no templates

My version says it checked for updates this afternoon. Somewhere I saw “You must have administrator privileges to update this!” And I do have administrator privileges.

So, I went looking for templates, which I admit I have never used. And it says there are several examples, such as for faxes or for letters. But there are no templates at all there.

I clicked on File > New > templates

Found no templates. I should have saved a screenshot. Sorry I didn’t.

I’m new here (for many years) and do not know what community wiki means. Should I check that?

Forgot to add I am using Windows 10 64, and I believe Libreoffice updated itself today.

Go to the Extensions and Templates repository:

https://extensions.libreoffice.org/templates

Download a template to your hard drive (it’s an “ots” file type).

Double left click on the template.
