How to get Insert Hyperlink > Target to offer PDF bookmarks?

Anyone know? Here it offers Slides (despite none in the PDF) but not the bookmark that is there.

Please reword your question so that we can understand your goal, how you did it and what went wrong. Mention OS name, exact LO version (with at least four numbers) and save format.

You tagged writer but you talk about “slides” which is usually meaningful in Impress.

Note that LibreOffice is not a PDF editor. What you call “PDF bookmarks” mean nothing to LibreOffice. It can offer you only the objects that it imported from PDF, or that you created, and which LibreOffice can link to (not everything). Use a proper PDF authoring software, if you need what you describe.

I’m trying to link to PDF, not edit.

What you call “PDF bookmarks”

They are what the PDF standard calls PDF bookmarks.

mean nothing to LibreOffice. It can offer you only the objects that it imported from PDF

Oh? So it cannot import PDF bookmarks?

Use a proper PDF authoring software, if you need what you describe.

I am authoring .odt not PDF.

If you will keep posting almost no information about what you do, and then kindly correct people who had to guess what you did, it won’t improve communication.

All I’m doing is what the title says: Insert Hyperlink > Target. Plus of course selecting a PDF with bookmark.

But regardless, if you are saying LOW cannot import PDF bookmarks, then question is answered (“No”).
