I’m using LibreOffice on my Devuan 6 Excalibur. Specific version: 25.2.3.2
When the font is set to the hebrew font, the software replacing the punctuation and digits with some default font:
The fonts are Noto Sans and Noto Sans Hebrew.
I’m not sure if this font contains numbers and punctuation but if not, How can I make the English font as the fallback?
Update: This version of Noto Sans Hebrew was installed through apt-get. It lacks digits and punctuation. I’ll try it with Noto Sans Hebrew from Google Fonts, maybe there it’ll work fine…
In the meanwhile, I’d like to suggest an improvement - If a font lacks characters, then fallback on the selected English font (e.g. Noto Sans)
