Two days ago, I opened a Calc spreadsheet and all the color was gone - every cell, tab and toolbar now in black and white. I can’t fill cell backgrounds, but print preview shows color in cells. The toolbar icons changed (the green on Insert Column icon, is gone). The pointer is now a thick cross. Menu preferences have mixed black and neon green text. To fix this, I upgraded from Libre version 25.2.2.2 to 26.2.4.2, but no change. Using Macbook (M2pro) running Tahoe 26.5.1. Lots of memory. I cleared caches. Other apps running fine. LibreOffice Writer seems ok. This was a very abrupt change.
Click Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Accessibility and set High Contrast to Disabled. OK
You might have to restart LibreOffice to see the effect

I don’t have Options under Tools nor could I disable as suggested.
I did “fix” the issue by going to Help - Restart in Safe Mode - Reset to Factory Settings. That got things back to where I was before.

Mac-Users are supposed to know they should search at “preferences”.
My fault. I know for Mac that the path is LibreOffice - Preferences - LibreOffice - Accessibility I just wasn’t paying sufficient attention, sorry
