How do you access, and use, the information from a word search?
Trying to compile a list of a frequently used word in my writer document.
I’m able to search the document just fine, but where is the actual statistic stored?

Since the solution may depend on it, mention OS name, LO version and save format.
Under Linux and *nix-like OSes, I’d save my Writer document as plain text (.txt) and use sort and uniq utilities on a slightly transformed version of the plain text file. The resulting file is then available for insertion into the original Writer document.
If do you search a word (in my example, ac), you can see in the status bar the count.
The \b
expression before and after the word (\bac\b) is to avoid words that contains it (accumsan and lacus in my example).
One might also try two extensions:
@cwolan Thanks for your reply. I’ve downloaded ‘Linguist’ but do not know where to put it. Is there an ‘Extensions’ folder it is to go into?
