I’m using L.O. V7.3.5.2 on Mint Mate 21
I’m trying to print address labels unsuccessfully.
All I get is this.
Name
Number Street
Suburb
State Post code
I’ve followed the instructions in the 7.3 Writer Guide created the data base, registered for all LibreOffice documents. started a New Labels dialogue and followed instructions, to the point of “New Document” It seems the data base just isn’t connecting. Am I missing a step somewhere?
Thanks, but that didn’t help much, now I get the data base name as well, but still no actual addresses. I just clicked the view > data sources box, and the data base I want comes into view. It just isn’t getting on to the labels.
Have you already made a test print?
The data records are not displayed for me either, but they are printed.
I did one test print, and it looked the same as the display. Every attempt since then I’ve checked “print preview” I guess that will be the same as an actual print.
Solved!!! Hit the “save merged document” button, and it saved with all the addresses.
However the resultant document was write protected, so I couldn’t edit it. Overcame this by saving as a word document.
