I downloaded 24.8, and now I can’t open any of my files I have been creating for the past few years. I’m running Windows 10. Is there a way I can revert to my previous version 24.2?
What operating system? Click Help - About LibreOffice, click the icon immediately after Version information to copy the details to your clipboard, paste the details here.
.
Why can’t you open your files?
Do you get an error message? What does the message say?
Does LibreOffice crash?
If you open LibreOffice, click File - Open and navigate to the folder where you save your files, can you open them?
.
I look forward to your reply.
Happy new year, Al
I found out it was caused by a recent browser upgrade. Had the provider remove and reinstall the browser, and my files were fine after that. Thank you for getting back to me - the problem has been solved.
I bet your problem has nothing to do with the database front end component Base. Consequently, I retagged common as it is “common” to (shared by) all components of the suite (Calc, Draw, Impress, Writer, …).
