All indent gone after reopening Writer

After reopening Writer document all numbered list indents are gone.

I have applied Text Body style to this numbered text and have defined for Text Body style to use first line indent. When placing my cursor in the numbered list text I see that to it Text Body style is applied. When I apply the Text Body style again to numbered list text the indent now appears until I reopen the document. After reopening the document the indent is gone again until I repeat previously described procedure.

How can I fix this issue so that the indent remains when reopening document without reapplying text style? I attached the document to which this error occurs. Nevertheless this is not the only document I face this issue.

You didn’t describe how th document should look like so it is difficult to say if it is formatted as intended or not.
Very important remark: your document is saved .docx, i.e. an alien format for LO Writer. Due to conversion when saving and another conversion when opening, don’t expect your formatting to be kept.
If you really want to keep your formatting, save your document native .odt. Note that saving it now that it has been converted to .docx will not repair the conversion damages.

A word about numbered lists in Writer:

When you create a numbered list (through a combination of a paragraph style for general formatting of text and a list style or toolbar button), “geometric” properties on left side of the item are no longer controlled by the paragraph style. These characteristics are now under control of the list style or Format>Bullets & Numbering for the toolbar button case.
Consequently, fiddling with Text Body left indent and first line indent will not work.

Thanks for answering so quickly ajlittoz!

To add more detail to my question my goal is to have indent in such a way:

1. ASDASdasdasdasdasd
2. asdasdasdasdasdasdasdasssss
    1. dsadasdas
        1. dasdasdas
                1. dasdasdasd
    2. asdasdasdasdasdasdasdass
3. asdasdasdasd
    1. asdweqweqw
4. asdasdasdwwqq

Instead of:

1. ASDASdasdasdasdasd
2. asdasdasdasdasdasdasdasssss
1. dsadasdas
1. dasdasdas
1. dasdasdasd
2. asdasdasdasdasdasdasdass
3. asdasdasdasd
1. asdweqweqw
4. asdasdasdwwqq

About .docx format - I just now made an .odt document and made a numbering list with similar indent as in my example. Saved document as .docx. Reopened it and indent was just as I left it - no error. So I assume that the problem is somewhere else and not in .docx format.

Maybe you have other ideas? ;/

Still no clear description of your intent, but I can give generic advice.

In Writer, all lists are multi-level. This means once you have type “2. asdasdas…” + Enter, type Tab to go to level 2 then “dsadasda”.

Tab when pressed at the very first position of a list item “promotes” the item one level deeper. Shift+Tab does the reverse operation, “demoting” the item one leevel shallower.

Indent width and relative number position are configured in list style or Format>Bullets & Numbering Position tab. Play with the settings to achieve your goal.

I have done all of this. The problem is that all these indents disappear after reopening document. And appear again after I format the list as Text Body (the list was formatted as Text Body all the time but formatting it again helps the issue until I again reopen the document).

If I open your document in Writer 7.1.8.1 the different levels have the same indent.
If I open your document in Writer 7.3.0.3 the different levels have a stepped indent appropriate to the level.

Next time when I’ll have an error I’ll try to update my Libre office first
