Allow LibreOffice access to controlled folder
The below numbered list is from Use the Windows Defender Security app to allow specific apps
3rd Party Anti-virus
If you do have a third party anti-virus go into settings and then look for something like anti-ransomware or folder protection. Have a look at the Blocked Apps list, if you see soffice.bin in there change it to Allowed (you might have to read AV help if not obvious). Otherwise go to the Allowed Apps setting and allow soffice.bin. Note that 3rd party anti-virus might make files Read Only so you can create a new file but you can’t save it subsequently. Sometimes, you might need to reboot after allowing a program access.

AI, Thank you very much. I am able to open all files. Thanks again.
I have the same problem with
Libre Office Version: 7.4.5.1
Build ID: 40(Build:1)
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: bs-BA (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded
when opening a document from “SMB server (AL-SULTAN)” on Android phone mounted to Mageia 8 linux using command:
mount //<my_phone_IP>/MainStorage /media/<some_folder> -o port=4445,uid=<my_username>,gid=<my_group>,user=admin,pass=
Other documents, either local or on linux or Windows SMB shares open OK.
As you have a different operating system and your question is about network access, I suggest you copy your question to a new question and delete your comment here. Cheers, Al
