Press Enter and instead of remaining on the cell it moves to cell beow
Before deleting data in a cell confirmation of action is requested
Before pasting data into a cell containing data confirmation of action is requested
Where ca these actions be removed.
Enter always moves to the next cell below unless you configure it to move in another direction and/or switch to edit mode, under Tools → Options → Calc → General.
If confirmation of deleting data is requested, you may have switched Key Bindings to OpenOffice.org legacy, under Tools → Options → Calc → Compatibility, which swaps Delete and Backspace key behaviour.
To switch off overwrite warning when pasting data see Tools → Options → Calc → General again.
