Automatic hyphen after inputting year

Help! LibraOffice has given me cancer!!! Every time I type the year into a cell in Calc a hyphen mysteriously appears at the end and I don’t know why! It has given me cancer.

How can I stop the hyphen from appearing? I would like to live a little bit longer. Many thanks.

Ah, I unticked “AutoInput” in Tools.

I hope the devs didn’t spend too much time on that, because what a waste of time that was!
