I clicked on automatic spell checking by mistake on my very long document. did it do anything automatically? i didn’t want it to change anything without me knowing. now i have no way of knowing as my document is very long. what does automatic spell checking do?
It only enables spell checking so that you have visual feedback about misspelled words on screen (wavy red underline).
It won’t replace anything without your consent. So, your document is safe.
