Hi. I’m just wondering if Libreoffice base programmers realize if “Autosave” in Libreoffice is completely lacking.
In Microsoft Access, no one worry about losing data since all data will be saved automatically. But in Libreoffice Base, once we forget to go to the main page and hit the “Save” button, that’s end of the game.

Only internal Firebird needs saving on the main page for saving data. All other databases connected to Base, including HSQLDB, doesn’t need it.
If you are creating queries, forms or reports you need to save the content. You will get a dialog “Save document”.
Problem for Base is: I don’t know any developer, who/she is really developing anything for Base. For Firebird there is Bug 117118, but I don’t know if there is any bug description/feature request for saving automatically while a query, a form or a report have been saved.
You mean developing Base as opposed to developing databases using Base.
