Buttons on forms in base won’t open a local document (other than reports) or run applications as they always did. Can’t edit the location field anymore , it seems to convert location a URL but doesn’t actually work anymore. Is this a bug or is it suppose to not work?

Do not know about running applications (?) but opening documents is not a problem except in v7.1.0.x which is now OK in daily release & to be OK in next releases. See tdf#46579
Just re-tested using LO v7.0.4.2 on Ubuntu 20.04 opening a pdf document. No problems. Use buttons all the time to get web pages. Need to use full URL and not relative naming.
