I have a number of DB’s where the date format on forms is set to “Standard(long)” having just updated to version 24.8.1.2 all the dates are now “Standard(short)” and I can’t seem to set them to anything else, well I can but it wont save, it just resets to “Short” Anyone else have this after updating?
It’s this bug: Bug 162713.
Note: Old created forms will be shown well, but if you change a form in LO 24.8 and save this form all date formats will be set to the default shot format.

You may replace the date control with a formatted control which can be formatted very much like a spreadsheet cell. However, it has no calendar drop-down.
