Black unresponsive screen after closing files

Hi,
I recently started using LibreOffice in mac, and whenever I close a file( not quitting libreoffice) a black unresponsive screen appears. I have to force close every time.
I have been using Libreoffice in Linux and Windows for years, never had this issue. Could u guys help?

Check to see if you are being bitten by the OpenGL/OpenCL bug (see reply to Q64314).
