Libre calc 7.0.6.2 prints blank page as does export as PDF or Excel.
Tried with test version the same.
Peter
Do you mean:
- LibreOffice Calc 7.0.6.2 prints only blank pages,
- or it prints some normally printed pages AND some extra blank pages?
Have a simple spreadsheet select print only get blank pages, if I select an area and select Print ranges in Format it works.
‘Calc assigns an automatic print range to include all the cells that are not empty’ it appears that this does not work as I would have expected it to do so.
@pprewett, Have you selected some cells? What do you see when choosing menu File - Print preview?
Have you tried to Restart in Safe Mode…? Take a look at the guidelines at LibreOffice user profile - The Document Foundation Wiki to see if it can be caused by corruption in the user profile.
None of the suggestions work.
In an earlier case, reinstalling helped, now it does not.
Additional info: some files of which I already made a normal pdf show the same problem now: blank preview, blank pdf. So “printer range” may well have nothing to do with it.
Your case is your case; it has nothing to do with the question of @pprewett, who had their problem solved using the advises given here. File a separate question, attach a sample problematic file, and have separate answers, hopefully addressing your case.
Your aggression is not helpful
Sometimes it’s easy to see why Uwe (Opaque) stopped contributing to AskLO, isn’t it?
Also, there is Menu/Tools/Options/LibreOffice Calc/Print -Pages - Suppress output to empty cells.
A solution for people that need one right now (not a trial-and-error process to what may or may not be the perfect answer)
a. copy the CALC sheet using control+C:
b. paste it in an empty text document:
- right mouse click
- choose paste special from the menu
- choose more options from the following menu
- choose the GDI option from the following menu
c. Now you have a text document that you can turn into a pdf - guaranteed
…with an image.
A blank text document…with an image.
Was that a question, by the way?
