Hi,
I am wondering how to update my version to a “bugfixed” version due to some nasty issues (Calc). I do not want to install a complete new version to run up some new bugs and errors. It would be nice if there is a history of version progress and to offer to update individually on specific versions based on the bugfix report.
But maybe there is already this option existing? I ask for your understanding if so, because this is my first contact here.

Check the release plan. You may consider 25.8.7 then.

But also rethink your interpretation of “complete new version” since the release cycle was changed to 6-month…

What are the issues? Maybe there are some workarounds
Maybe we should add a bit additional info…
I did not mentionbit directly, as most users will not go this path.
- On the regular download-site ther is also a link to the archive, so you can download any released version. But keep an eye on the release cycle mentioned above: End of live means this version will receive no further bugfixes.
- This is open source software, so obviously there is a history of all changes in code. The code-management is done on a system named gerrit. But this is something for developers and you should be familiar with reading code and using version management (git).
- The bug-tracker is on bugzilla. If buges are fixed, the version to contain the bugfix is told, so you can test, if this works for you. I guess most users will not read complete log. It is possible to “watch” bugs and be notified, if the bug is fixed/changed. Start here: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/
