Calc: AutoInput changing lower case to uppercase (or vice versa)

With Tools > AutoInput turned ON (and all AutoCorrect replacements and exceptions turned OFF), when I type into a cell “my entry”, and in the same column in a cell below it I start typing “my e”, AutoInput conveniently completes the entry to “my entry”. So far, so good.

However, if I have “your entry” in a cell, and below it I enter “Your entry” (starting with an upper case), my spelling of choice is ignored and the string is changed to “your entry” (starting with a lower case) since this is the spelling that corresponds to the one above. This change can often be useful, but there are exceptions.

Is there a way to keep AutoInput turned ON but prevent it from changing lower case to upper case (and vice versa)?
