Calc Customize Submenu

When increasing font size setting in Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3, the Customize submenu dialogue box does not adjust to the changed height.

The effect is that the bottom part of the dialogue box is hidden as the box is anchored to the top border of the window, and it is not possible to reduce the height of the box - by pulling the top down and move whole box up.

Is this something that can be corrected?

Can you create a screen shot and add that to the original question? I have Linux Mint Cinnamon 20 and LO 7.2.2.2 and cannot replicate the problem. My Customize dialog floats; it is not anchored to the window. And while I get fewer lines on each panel, even with large system font it seems quite usable. Perhaps I’m not looking at what I should be.

Hi,

Thanks for the support.

You are right, the dialogue box does float.

The issue I had was that it was that the bottom part was hidden behind the Task Bar (I had made task bar setting to show always). When I made the task bar ‘auto hide’ the whole box was visible.

Perhaps it also has something to do with the way LM Cinnamon do scaling. I has increased the text scale to 1.2 and then I had the issue.

Again, thank you for you support.

Solution is: no action required, except a change in user.
