Running Calc on an older HP laptop running Linux Mint 21.3, I find that the icons in the tool bars are barely visible - a very pale blue-gray. At some screen angles they aren’t visible at all. High contrast mode doesn’t seem to affect these icons. Is there a way to make them more visible?
Try Menu / Tools / Options / LibreOffice / View.
Select different “Icon Themes” value, then OK.
