i would like to create a button so i can add security to my documents that i export as pdfs; i found the export as pdf button, but it does not allow the options portion to be accessed

go to Tools - Customize and select Tab: Toolbars and Type “PDF” into the “Search”-field. You’ll find string “PDF” two times under “Function” with unfortunately the same icon (at least in my 6.2.4 Linux version of LibreOffice). But these are different functions. One is with the options dialog and the the other is the direct PDF export (just like you can do via menu File -> Export and File -> Export as PDF [which is showing the options]). You may change the icon via Modify -> Change Icon button in the customize dialog to get these two function visually separated. You may also rename the function from “PDF” to “PDF with Options” (or whatever you like) using Modify -> Rename ...
thanks, saw the 2 buttons but did’nt check both out. might be a good idea for developers to distinguish buttons i.e. PDFwith
