Is it possible to enter the axis labels in calc diagrams as latex formulas? If so, how to do it?
Have you tried to put formulas produced with LibreOffice Math on the axes as labels? (I haven’t, but if this works, LaTeX → LO Math → axis label may work too.)
I would say it is not possible.
Reasons:
LaTeX formulas have been develop to "…allowed simple construction of mathematical formulas, while looking professional when printed. " (http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Mathematics) and not to be entered in spreadsheets.
Calc, like any other spreadsheet tool, needs for each cell a formula, referring to other cells.
I think you misunderstood my question. I don’t want to have latex formulas in a cell of the spreadsheet. I want to have it on the axis labels of a diagram produced with calc.
@student - Sorry for misunderstanding your question. I feel that @karolus gave you a very valuable suggestion.
As for LaTex formulas as labels did you give it a try? What was the result?
