Can Libre Office Draw open MS Visio Documents for editing?

I have several MS Visio Documents it want to open view & edit.

Hello,

I’ve some old .vsd file which could be opened and edited by LibreOffice (Draw). You cannot save in .vsd format. You’ll need to switch to .odg, if you make changes.

Note This answer is based on my own observations with some pretty old MS Visio Documents (15+ years old). Thus it may not apply to more recent files or files using enhanced features of Visio.

You can e.g. specify during installation whether LibreOffice should process Visio documents.
