Can LibreOffice alter a pdf file to make all text BLACK?

I am trying to print a 20 page pdf file on an old monochrome laser printer so that my old eyes can read it.

The pdf file text is mostly dark gray, which I find barely readable. There are also green and pink headings and subheadings that print so faintly that I cannot read them. There are hypertext links in blue that are also nearly unreadable.

The old laser printer prints black text just fine.

I would like to change ALL text in the pdf file to black.

Is this possible with LibreOffice. If so, how can I do it.

I have LibreOffice 7.1.8.1 installed on Windows 10, and I forget what version on Linux Mint I forget what version.

I think I did this once with LibreOffice about a year ago, but cannot remember how.

Many thanks for any help,
glyb

Ctrl + P → LibreOffice Draw (assuming, you imported the file in Draw) → Color → Black & White.

Thank you @gabix, I’m not sure about putting the ampersand here.

Danke schoen. Muchas gracias.

That worked very well. Very much better. Not perfect, but as well as can be expected. I blame the shortfall on my old eyes, presbyopia which is greek for old eyes, and old laser printer.

Thank you very much for your prompt response,

Short answer: no.

Long story: LO can open PDF files as a collection of graphical slides in Draw. Text will be shown in multiple text boxes. You can then select all objects within one page with Ctk+A and apply text attributes, here text colour. You must do it for every page. Export the modified file under a different name in case something goes wrong because I am not sure that Draw will generate a fully compliant PDF (it is not supposed to act as a PDF editor).

I’m sorry, my topic question was poorly worded. I didn’t need to save a modified pdf file, just print the one I have as black and white instead of the gray and color.

I opened the pdf file in Draw and as gabix suggested, did the Ctrl + P → LibreOffice Draw → Color → Black & White → Print and it worked just fine.

The pastel headings and subheadings as well as the blue hyperlinks printed Black, or at least black enough for my old eyes to read.

Thank you ajlittoz for your response, and again sorry for the confusion I caused.
