Can not change 2-column page style

LO Version: 7.5.0.3 (X86_64)
Win 11-64

My page style was 1-column. I didn’t change it. It changed to 2-column. I’ve tried to change it back to 1-column (Format->Page Style->1-column) and it shows that it is in 1-column and won’t change back. I checked to see if it was a 2-column table. It is not. How can I restore my 1-column setting.

I just noticed that is not 2-column but 2 pages shown sidy-by-side. That is, page 1/2 are on the same ‘page’, and using the horizontal slide you can shift between pages. I still don’t know how to fix it so that there is one and only one page displayed. I’m going to keep digging but if someone knows what to do to change the display format, could you help?

At bottom-right of the document window in the Status bar, left of the zoom slider, there are 3 icons:
AskLOZoom
from right to left, Book View (enabled in the screenshot), Multi-page view and Single Page View.

Click on the one you prefer. However if your screen is wide enough, it is nice to have several pages. In Multipage mode, the number of displayed pages depends on the zoom factor.

Thanks. It takes a long time for an old dog to learn. Your solution solved the problem.
