Can not send documents by e-mail

I can no longer send documents via e-mail using the new version of Mozilla Thunderbird. How can I fix this?

Have you closed the document before attaching it?

I always uploaded documents from within LibreOffice but in the current version of Thunderbird it stopped working. I downgraded.

To hope for a fix or at least a workaround, describe your configuration: OS name, LO version, T’Bird version and, very important, how you try to email documents: File>Send>Email Document or as an attachment to a T’Bird mail?

Thanks for the help but I solved the problem by downgrading Thunderbird 102 to version 91.

That’s not a solution though, just a workaround and TB 91 will phase out soon. Would be better to find the real cause.

Maybe it is related, but with Outlook on Firefox (a few versions before 102.0), also don’t allowed to attach files with drag and drop. Now it is solved.

I always Save and Close my documents before trying to send them as attachments, or, in fact, doing anything else with them. Never have a problem.

I agree with you (@erAck). When I have time, I’ll do some research to find the
