Can only open Calc in read mode

Since updating have not been able to open spreadsheets but have a message saying:
Document could not be Locked.
“The lock file could not becreated for exclusive access by LibreOffice,due to missing permission to create a lock file on that location or lack of free disk space”

I have not altered any settings and have over 5GB of frre disk space so how can I restore to normal working?

Maybe another case of AVG / Avast blocking LibreOffice?

Unable to open 7.4 docs with 7.6 version loaded

my computer was hacked and I had to switch to my backup. I downloaded the newer 7.6 version and attempted to open the docs had on my backup drive which were processed on 7.4 version the docs would not open (restore “failed”). When I attempted to revert to the 7.4 download I found this: https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/7.4.7/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_7.4.7_Win_x64.msi and no download of the 7.4 available. What do I do now?

Problem opening saved docs following recent upgrade

I have recently downloaded v7.5.7.1. Now, when I open a previously saved document (in Calc or Writer) I receive a message stating ‘Document in Use’ ‘This file has been locked by another user’. I am using a home PC to which no-one else has access. I’m running Windows 10 and Firefox 118.0.2. I have to use ‘open a copy on your local system’. Why am I getting this message? What do I need to do to stop this happening?

Can no longer use desktop shortcuts for individual files

Since upgrading to LO 7.5.7.1, the shortcuts to often-used files that I’ve created on my desktop no longer open those files. When I create new shortcuts, they don’t work either. Any idea why?
