Cannot enter hyperlink

I use the current version of LibreOffice on a Dell Inspiron 15 3530 running Windows 11 Pro. I was editing a document and inserted a hyperlink. There was an error in the hyperlink, so I deleted it and tried to insert a new one; however, neither the hyperlink button nor the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + K) nor the Insert Menu item works. I sent an error report and tried to read it, but Firefox wouldn’t let me read it. What’s wrong, and is there anything short of an “uninstall-reinstall” cycle that I can try?

Sure. But as you didn’t gave much relevant detail I have difficulties to suggest, where to start. So I begin with the end: Your “uninstall-reinstall cycle" is probably useless, unless you remove yourself also the user-profile. (If you don’t remove this yourself, the profile is kept and any problems resulting out of a corrupt profile will be kept also.).
.
So instead of uninstalling one should try to test “safe-mode” (start without reading the existing user-profile) first.

No precise version given. I see now 25.8.4.2 as latest available “relseased” version in 3 variants for Windows. I assume you use the x64 version, as I can google an “Intel Core i5-1334U” for your hardware.

Was there an error message? Or did you just spot the error? Can you tell more on thy mysterious entity, vor is this confidential? Verified, it does not matter?

All this just do nothing? Error message? Have you tested with a new file and a well known address you can also use via Firefox?

?? Was this a crash-report? To Microsoft? A bug-report at bugzilla? Why do you need Firefox to read something you send?
