Cannot load an odt file with LibreOffice 7.2.0

With a previous version of LibreOffice, namely 6.x, I could open the attached odt file without any problem, but with the 7.2.0 version I get a picture thing over three equations!
latexmath2.odt (17.3 KB)

I get an unknown object too in 7.2.0.4 instead of the equation where nitalic is used, removing nitalic opens normally. It opens normally in 7.1.5.2. For work, I strongly recommend 7.1.5.2 rather 7.2 at the moment
Can you post it as a bug and report the bug number back here as comment, it’ll create an automatic link if you type it as tdf#######, where hash is number of bug.
Cheers, Al

Can’t see what @EarnestAl notices - hence information of operating system might be a important.

Version: 7.2.0.4 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 9a9c6381e3f7a62afc1329bd359cc48accb6435b
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

The embedded Formula-14 object has the office version=“1.2” attribute, the rest - “1.3”.

… which is itself fine

but nice catch - may it be that we have a bug here reading such things that must be perfectly OK?

I am only a diagnostician… :slightly_smiling_face:

I see the problem with Version: 7.2.1.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 3cfc32d9754d2d239bd8ce2941029c12873010c1
CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

but it’s fine with Version: 6.4.0.3 (x64)
Build ID: b0a288ab3d2d4774cb44b62f04d5d28733ac6df8
CPU threads: 12; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19043; UI render: GL; VCL: win;
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded
