closed lid on laptop, Reopen 3:pm 11-13-2020 Version 64 bit 6.0
Steps taken:
run chkdsk /f no errors reported
attempted create file by copy and with notepad. ALL OK
download and install V 7.0 (x64) LibreOffice
No change
Permissions = full control Owned by current user wit admin privileges.
WERC2ED.tmp attached WERC2ED-a.odt
Attempting to open *.odt file refused see attached *.jpg file

I am amazed that a plain text file with a *.txt cannot be attached.

Who deleted the other occurrence? I had it reformatted to make it readable, I requested additional information and suggested a check. This one was closed to freeze it, waiting for OP return.
