This problem still appears to exist. I am using Mac Catalina and LO 6.2.8.2. I save (or save as …). I get the dreaded spinning ball for a minute or so. Then the ball disappears but there’s no saved file. I’ve restarted in Safe Mode and get the same result.

Yes I did that and nothing relevant came up. My problem is exclusively with Draw. Writer had trouble opening mail attachments, but the Full Disk Access option sorted that out, but it did not solve the Draw problem. Oddly enough, for some inexplicable reason, I managed to save a Draw file today. Anyway thanks for pointing that option out.
