Cannot select a JRE to install Zotero Plugin in Writer

The title says it all. I installed Zotero on my PC, then tried installing the related plugin for Writer, but it failed. Zotero states that Writer must point to a JRE for the plugin to work. In Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Advanced no JRE is detected

Trying to add /lib/jvm/java-21-openjdk-amd64, and pushing ‘OK’, does nothing. The dialog box keeps reopening.

Thus, I cannot link the JRE to LibreOffice, and I cannot make the plugin work.

Anyone can help?

I think you are in Linux.
I don’t know much about linux, but have you tried using the Java installation’s Bin directory ?
