Cannot show hyperlink

In LnkExam.odt, which is based on template Examen, there is a hyperlink associated with ‘C’.
Copy ‘CctWC:’ to LnkSyl.odt, which is based on template Syllabus; the ‘C’ disappears, but the hyperlink remains —check it by hovering the mouse cursor. Why?

Hi. In LnkSyl.odt the character style for Internet Link has the Hidden effect ticked.
Open the Styles pane in the Sidebar, select Character Style along the top (second icon from left). Right click on Internet Link style, select Modify and untick the box labelled Hidden to reveal two existing “C” hyperlinks. Or paste as unformatted text. Cheers, Al

Thank you! But, why is this style called ‘Internet link’ in an Internet-less context?

When AutoCorrect is configured so, Writer recognises URL like http://example.com or mailto:recipient@mail.server and automatically assigns them built-in character style Internet Link. This doesn’t imply you’re connected to internet. It is simply recognition of a specific pattern.

By default, Internet Link will underline and colour purple the sequence. In addition, language is set to none to disable spell checking.

If the style had attribute Hidden, then you damaged it in some way, admittedly unvoluntarily.
