Canot edit hyperlink in MS Word created document

I have a doc file containing hyperlinks. It as originally created in MS Word. But I cannot edit the hyperlinks. That option does not appear when I right click on it…
Is this normal?

Please upload an abbreviated and anonymized document in which the problem is present here. Thank you.

And please tell us which operating system and LibreOffice Version do you use. Thanks.

It is on Libre Office 7.0.5.2 on Mac OSX 10.13.4
I have attached the docx file
MAGNETIC HARTREE TOROIDAL MODE.docx (35.9 KB)

thanks!

Technically, your document contains absolutely no hyperlink. The light blue underlined words have direct-formatting to change their appearance but no hyperlink is associated with the sequence. Some previous step probably wiped them out.

Your document is not “styled” at all. All formatting is done manually, even vertical spacing with empty paragraphs. The sample seems to be part of a professional book or paper. In the absence of styling, you’ll have a truly hard time to format it.

If you work with LibreOffice Writer you should always save your document in ODT format.
If you need to share your document, make a copy in the desired file format and keep your ODT file.
