Can't select text box in impress to move it

I click on a text box wanting to move it and Impress puts me into text edit mode, I’ve clicked on and off to another box, go back and Impress again edits the text, I’ve tried the alt / option key and doesn’t appear to work.

See Tools - Options… - LibreOffice Impress - General - Allow quick editing (link to help). May be a bug here. Tested with LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 (x64); OS: Windows 10.0.

Try to select and press Esc once.
