I have used libreoffice for many years. I recently upgraded to Catalina which is 64 bit and the info I am getting is that the current Libreoffice version will not work. I have very important documents that I need to access soon. Please advise. Thank you.
Some general advice:
- You will want to install a 64 bit version of LibreOffice
- You need to give LibreOffice full disk access from System Preferences > Security & Privacy. See this site on how to do it if you aren’t sure: Explained: What is Full Disk Access & Full Permissions on macOS Mojave
- You will want to install a 64 bit version of LibreOffice
… and there’s no 32-bit LibreOffice for macOS released since version 4.4 (2015).
Whoops. Probably best to install a more recent one than that
