cell outline size of active cell

how do i make the outline of the active cell more visible? i cannot see it, it is pale blue and thin, i need to look at the row and column shading to see what cell is active.

how do i make the out line of the active cell thicker, or somehow make the active cell more obvious?

thank you.

Did you try to enable Column/Row highlighting under
>Tools>Options>LibreOffice Calc>View>>Display ?

Thank you! It works, not what I hoped would be thicker outline bars on selected cell, but column/row highligting works!

Can’t find ‘cell focus’ at tools options libreoffice appearance… ? But cell focus sounds like a good path

May sound nicely, but I also can’t find the option.

I found it! Can’t make the black walls thicker but red works. Thank you!

Can you tell me how?

Version: 26.2.1.2 (X86_64)
Build ID: 620(Build:2)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 11 X86_64 (build 26200); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win
Locale: en-CA (de_DE); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Thanks. It’s actually at the same place in my rather “still” version of the 25.8 series. However, I missed it obviously when “scanning” the long list.

???
You surely can also tell me for what reason that setting is placed under ...>LibreOffice>Appearance instead of ...>LibreOffice Calc>View(>>Display).

I should probably retire. Such great ideas I can surely also find in commercial software. LibO should be better.

Unfortunately, I can’t answer that.

Just a remark:
The “Cell focus” option (introduced in version 24.8) is one of 16 color-related settings for Calc. Are you suggesting that the other 15 are in the right place? What about items in other sections under “Customizations”?
