Change Cursor Shape

I guess it’s not likely, but is it at all possible to change the Cursor shape in Writer to an underscore instead of the vertical line? So, _ instead of |

I find it confusing and an underscore cursor would be easier for me.

And I know I am likely to be asked which version I am using, so here’s the details:

Version: 7.6.4.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: e19e193f88cd6c0525a17fb7a176ed8e6a3e2aa1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19045; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: en-GB (en_GB); UI: en-GB
Calc: threaded

I believe the cursor is controlled by the window manager, in your case Windows. Have a look in your Windows settings and see what is available.

The cursor is set via the operating system.
In the Windows example, it is the properties of the mouse.

It is not possible to choose a subline for a text selection in Windows.

It is possible in Windows to make the cursor thicker if that will help.
