I am new to LibreOffice and created a calc spreadsheet using a drop-down list for one of the fields. I used a separate spreadsheet for the list. I have that working but have decided I would like to rename and relocate the linked file I use to populate the drop down. E.g. I would like to change the link from
‘file:///N:/Test/Household Inventory/Locations.ods’#$Sheet1.$A$1:$A$50
to
‘file:///N:/Common LibreOffice Files/Household Inventory Locations.ods’#$Sheet1.$A$1:$A$50
There are over 2500 records in the spreadsheet and renaming each row’s link would obviously be a real pain. I tried to use find and replace, but that did not work. Is there a way to change those links with a single edit of some sort, or by another command?
(I am in the process of converting many Access databases to LibreOffice. I have found a way around my this bad design choice by linking a single source file as a secondary sheet in multiple spreadsheets. But I dread editing each of the rows in this “completed” spreadsheet manually.)
Thanks.
