is there any way to change text size in an already created form
Open (in Calc) View → Toolbars → Form design. You have to set Form → Design mode → 'on'. Then switch to the control (or mark all controls), Right mouse click → Control properties → General → Font.
In Base you have to open the form for editing, not for input data. Works the same with right mouse click.
form design is greyed out. any other suggestions? Thanks.

Both form design and font size are greyed out when I open the calc file. I can’t seem to be able to edit my form or table. Any other suggestons? I am using Libreoffice for mac.

Screenshot won’t show a Calc table and also couldn’t show toolbar for “Form Design”. Its a table inside from Base with toolbar “Table Data”.
It looks like you start the form by clicking “Datasource as Table” in the navigation bar of the form and hide the form, which could be designed.
You could change the font size of such a table by clicking an the left upper corner → right mouse click → table format.
I am using a mac. Would this change the procedure you have sent me? As you can see a lot of the toolbar icons are greyed out. Can you please send me step by step instructions to be able to change font size? Thanks for your time and effort.
Screenshot shows a opened form for input data inside a database file (*.odb). You opened this form by clicking on the form. I could only write steps for Linux - might be it differs a little bit:
Open the form for editing, not for input data.
Right mouse click on the form → Edit…
or
Chose the form → Edit → Edit
There is also available a button for Edit.
