I imported a CSV file that contains a column of dates without the year being specified. When I changed the format to Date, calc presumed the year to be 2026, whereas it needs to be 2025. How can I avoid this in the future? Fwiw, this time around I fixed it by subtracting the number of days in the year.
Next time you can Find /2026 and Replace with /2025.
You must see in the formula bar if the year is shown as /2026 or in another format.
…by transferring the date fragments by New Year’s Eve at the latest. CALC automatically adds the current year. If you manually enter “2.2.”, it will become – depending on the country format – for example “02.02.26”.
