Clarify 'Release Plan' Documentation Please?

I am referring to this webpage: Release Plan

On that page there are tables that show dates for releases. Under the Publishing heading of the table is given information like (for example):

Announcement: Week 09 , Feb 24, 2025 - Mar 2, 2025
Mar update: Week 10 , Mar 3, 2025 - Mar 9, 2025

Can someone please tell me what “Announcement: Week…” means?
Can someone please tell me what “Mar update: Week…” means? (I take it that “Mar” is an abbreviation or acronym for something but I can’t guess what.)

“Announcement: Week…” means ISO number of the week when the new version is announced (like here: note that it was published 2025-02-20, and it aligns with “Announcement: Week 8 , Feb 17, 2025 - Feb 23, 2025” for 24.8.5); the week is also specified by the start/end dates.
Mar update: Week…” means the number of the week when the new MAR-based automatic update (tdf#68274; introduced in 24.2; auto-enabled in 24.8; MAR standing for “Mozilla ARchive”) starts (it is postponed a bit).

You say MAR stands for “Mozilla ARchive”. Now I’m confused on this: where does Mozilla come in on this? LibreOffice is ‘owned’ by TDF.

Mozilla comes, as usual, when it creates an open-source technology of auto-updater; and TDF (and LibreOffice) uses the technology now. Just as we also use tens and tens of other libraries of different great third-party developers.
