My partner uses Excel I use Libre, he says when I save this shared doc the colors on his end revert to an “ancient” palette and he has to go in and somehow fix the doc. I am lost here, is there some reason Libre would use different colors than Excel? Not really versed in this enough to know how to address the issue. Thanks.
It could be a compatibility problem between EXCEL and CALC.
Basically:
Always create and save your files in LibreOffice and save them in ODF format (ODT, ODS, etc.).
Always keep these files as their source. If you need other formats for distribution to partners, you can open an ODF file and save and distribute another format with ″ Save as… ″.
This way, you always have working files available in your system environment.
