Compound (hyphenated) words flagged as spelling error revisted

Hello,

I want to have Libre Writer’s spell check stop making squiggly red lines under compound hyphenated words that I’ve added to my dictionary like “mancy-based”. The made up word “mancy” is added to my dictionary and “based” is already a standard word. I went into Tools-Options-Languages and Locales-Writing Aids and unchecked Libhyphen Hyphenator. And that did not work. I’d rather not add every single non-standard hyphenated word to my dictionary if the pair of words are spelled correctly on their own. It looks like a bug has been reported on this a few years back. Are there any other settings/options I can try, or do I need to wait for the bug fix? Any help on this is appreciated.
