The “media playback” toolbar of Impress offers a feature "Control Focus (Ctrl-F5). You can add or remove this with a right click, but what does it do?
@rjwse – Did you ever figure out what the Control Focus feature does? (Thanks for asking these questions – other people are probably curious as well!)
Hi @rjwse,
Doing some digging, it looks like this might relate to which control gets focus when the document containing the form is opened.
Per the Form Design Toolbar documentation:
If Automatic Control Focus is activated, the first form control will be selected when you open the document. If the button is not activated, the text will be selected after opening. The Tab Order that you have specified determines which is the first form control.
So my guess is that the ‘Control Focus’ setting can toggle whether (or which of) the media playback controls get focus when the document is opened.
