I have LO windows files I want to transfer to an IMac
What is the “Windows files” and the “Mac format”?
Please give us more details.
.
Do you want to convert your LibreOffice ODF documents into MS Office formats?
If you have differen LO versions on the Win an Mac computers, maybe there is difference in the ODF versions. LO 6.x.x versions use the “ODF 1.2 extended”, an the LO 7.x.x versions use the “ODF 1.3 extended” version to save the documents - by default.
If you use LibreOffice also on your Mac you can copy the files. No conversion necessary.
.
How you do this depends not on LibreOffice. USB-Drive, Dropbox, eMail, Network-Shares, SSL- or Remote-Desktop access to the other computer - use what YOU can handle and is available.
.
If you wish to use the files with other programs you have to find out,
- If the other program can read odf-files
- or find a format wich both programs read (but test carefully - there is rarely a perfect transfer possible for complex scenario)
