Copy pasete issue with writer unwanted blank lines

I’m hitting a issue with the latest version of Libre Office. This did not happen with the prior version.
If I copy text from a web site, into a Writer document I am getting unwanted blank lines (paragraph breaks?). This happens whether I am copy pasting a single sentence or more than one paragraph

Paste unformatted text is not a solution because if the copied text is more than one paragraph and I use paste unformatted text I lose a wanted paragraph break.

Again, this did not happen in the prior version of LO. It is a new issue.

LO Version 26.2.2.2
Is there somewhere I can get the version history for my install? Otherwise I can’t give you a version number for before the last update. But this only became an issue after the last update.
OS: Windows 11.version 25H2 (OS build 26200.8037)

Not sure about an example. The documents I’ve encounters this for are setup/background for NSFW stories. And I clean them up. I don’t leave them in the state that the copy/paste causes. I’ll have to see if I can set something up.

Without the original web site it is hard to compare. There is one readily available, this one.

If I copy the question here I get a possibly unexpected line break (normal paste) or paragraph break (unformatted text) for the first line, why? Because it was in the original, inserted by the author, see attached but turn on formatting marks View > Formatting marks (Ctrl+F10)
