Copy/Paste Paragraph issues

I am using LibreOffice Writer 7.2.1.2

I noticed sometimes when I copy paragraphs from Libre Writer, it pastes all lines as one line
Here’s an example

COPY
To my mind
But I was blind
**You made me blind **
You Made me blind

PASTE
To my mindBut I was blindYou made me blindYou Made me blind

seems like something I am missing but I couldn’t figure it out, Thanks!

In LibreOffice you should click View > Formatting Marks to see how your text is structured.
ViewFormattingMarks

The text I copied from your posting is from the language used on this site, not from LibreOffice, but in the image above, you can see a Paragraph mark, ¶ , at the end of the text. The paragraph is inserted by pressing the Enter key.
The intermediate lines end with a line break, ↵ , this is not a paragraph. The manual line break is inserted by pressing Shift+Enter

You don’t say where you are pasting the text to. If it is to this site then the language interprets a single paragraph as a Line break, ↵, and a double paragraph ¶¶, as a single paragraph, ¶.

Possibly, pasting somewhere else might ignore line breaks altogether.
